An antihistamine with antiallergic activity, additionally shrinking blood vessels.
It is a combined preparation containing 2 active substances: antazoline and nafazoline. The action of both substances is added up. Antazoline blocks histamine type 1 (H1) receptors. In this way, it inhibits the action of histamine, a substance that causes allergic symptoms. Is the first generation antihistamine. Relieves allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, swelling and itching of mucous membranes. Nafazolina has sympathomimetic effects. Narrows blood vessels and reduces congestion of mucous membranes. The topical preparation on the skin brings relief after only a few minutes and its effect lasts for several hours.
The product is indicated for the treatment of skin irritation symptoms after insect bites.
The preparation works symptomatically and is intended for occasional use.
Unfortunately, even if there are indications to use the preparation, it can not always be used. You can not use the preparation if you are allergic (you are hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients or to imidazole derivatives.
Certain diseases and other circumstances may constitute a contraindication to use or indication to change the dosage of the preparation.
The product is intended only for external use, for topical application (in the place of the bite) to the skin. Protect eyes and mucous membranes against contact with the preparation.
