What is Alantan?

What does Alantan contain and how does it work?
The active substance of the preparation is allantoin. Allantoin has a keratolytic effect. Prevents excessive keratin deposition, supports wound healing by stimulating the regeneration of the epidermis and granulation of the wound, has a protective effect, improves skin hydration. The product is intended for topical application to the skin.
When to use Alantan?
The preparation is indicated in the local treatment:
· Hard to heal wounds, burns (including sun)
· Chronic inflammation of the skin with excessive exfoliation and keratosis (atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, other skin diseases)
· Shallow ulcerations, skin defects and mucous membranes.
When not to use this preparation?
Unfortunately, even if there are indications to use the preparation, it can not always be used. You can not use the product if you are allergic (you are hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients.
Do not use on skin lesions during acute inflammation with the presence of lesions. Do not use for eyes.

Dosage of Alantan
