What does Akneroxid contain and how does it work?

, which is one of the causes of acne vulgaris. The product is intended for external application, locally to the skin.
When to use Akneroxid?
The preparation is indicated for the treatment of acne vulgaris.
The preparation containing 100 mg of benzoyl peroxide in 1 g of gel is especially recommended for acne vulgaris and backache.
When not to use this preparation?
Unfortunately, even if there are indications to use the preparation, it can not always be used. You can not use the preparation if you are allergic (you are hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients.
Do not use the product on mucous membranes, eyes or around the eyes, mouth or nose. Do not use on damaged skin or dry skin, with limited secretion of sebum. Do not use in people with atopic dermatitis.
Do not use in women during the last month of pregnancy.
Take special care with Akneroxid?

Dosage of Akneroxid
The preparation has a gel form and is intended for topical application to the skin. Use the preparation as recommended. If you have any doubts regarding the use of the preparation, consult a physician.
Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected lesions 1-2 times a day after cleansing the skin.In people with particularly sensitive skin, the product should be used once a day before bedtime. For sensitive skin, a treatment with a gel with a benzoyl peroxide content of 50 mg / g can be started, and if necessary, continue the treatment with a gel with an active ingredient content of 100 mg / g. Do not use on healthy skin. The treatment period is usually 4-10 weeks. Wash hands after each use.
Can I use Akneroxid during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
During pregnancy, do not use any medicine without consulting your doctor!
It is very important that before using any medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult a physician and explain beyond any doubt the potential risks and benefits associated with the use of the drug. The preparation during breastfeeding can be used only on the order of a doctor and with caution, when the doctor deems it necessary.
Can I use other preparations in parallel?
Tell your doctor about all medicines you have recently taken, including those that are over the counter.
Locally, skin irritants, desiccants, exfoliants or substances with reducing properties should not be used in the local area.
What side effects can occur?
Like all medicines, Akneroxid 5, -10 can cause side effects, although they will not occur in all patients who use this medicine. Remember that the expected benefits of using the drug are usually greater than the damage resulting from the occurrence of side effects.
There may be a feeling of skin tension, slight redness, burning (lasting up to 5 days). These symptoms may occur in the first week of treatment and do not constitute an indication to stop using the preparation. If the redness or burning of the skin lasts longer, discontinue use and consult a physician. Possible increased skin dryness and moderate exfoliation of the epidermis. Rarely contact allergic dermatitis.
