What is Acerin?

The product is intended for topical application to the skin.

What does Acerin contain and how does it work?

The preparation is composed of two components: lactic acid and salicylic acid. It has an exfoliating effect, prevents excessive keratinization of the epidermis.
Salicylic acid has a keratolytic effect, softens and loosens the keratinized epidermis, facilitating its exfoliation.
Lactic acid is a corr osive agent that destroys the Corn ified layer of the skin.

When to use Acerin?

The preparation is indicated for use to remove corns and thickened skin.

When not to use this preparation?

Unfortunately, even if there are indications to use the preparation, it can not always be used. You can not use the preparation if you are allergic (you are hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients.
Do not use the preparation:
- orally
- in people with diabetes or with cardiovascular disorders
- if the skin surrounding the print is damaged or altered
- on the face and on the genital area.
The use of the preparation in children is contraindicated.

Take special care with Acerin?

Certain diseases and other circumstances may constitute a contraindication to use or indication to change the dosage of the preparation. In some situations it may be necessary to carry out specific check-ups.

Dosage of Acerin

Soak your legs in warm water for 15-30 minutes and then after drying apply the preparation with a brush to the imprint or a thickened place on the skin. Be careful not to touch healthy skin, let it dry. If necessary, repeat the operation several times over the following days (use once a day).Then, wash your legs and mechanically remove the imprint.

Can I use Acerin during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

During pregnancy, do not use any medicine without consulting your doctor!
It is very important that before using any medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult a physician and explain beyond any doubt the potential risks and benefits associated with the use of the drug.
